I have been a licensed riding instructor and trainer for 40 years. I also spent 10 years taking high profile clients on supervised rides cross country, so am more than qualified to address this issue. There were SO many things that were wrong and potentially dangerous in this ride. Taking a group of 18 people, at least 16 of whom were rank beginners, two of whom were small children, and one of those scared to pieces, was crazy. There was a lead rider and a wrangler. That was not enough to care for 18 riders. The horse the child was on decided to head for home an hour into the ride. The potential for critical injury was huge. The second guide had to leave the group to get the kid and one parent back to the ranch safely. Another rider started having trouble w a horse kicking at it's belly repeatedly, an hour and a half out, on a tar road, going downhill. He rightly expressed concern and was told he could get off and walk. Another rider, the only other with some experience, offered and did switch horses. Had I EVER been advised as to the possible size of the group, I would never have gone. I basically spent the 2 hours watching out for my family and the riders immediately near me. And it cost me money to do so. Really disappointed. And, I doubt this will be posted for review of potential clients.

Colby was our tour guide and he was great/talkative with us! Definitely will be doing a longer tour next time we find ourselves in Jackson Hole! Tips: warm socks and warm gloves if riding in the fall/winter.

They were rude from the start. Couldnā€™t find our reservation told us to go figure it out and didnā€™t explain where to go. One of our group got paired with an upset horse and went back to stables there was no one there to help and the guide radioed them be no one answered. I would say itā€™s a very unsafe choice for a ride. Waste of money!
