We had been to Jerome a few times but didn't know the history so we decided to take a tour. Such a unique town with rich history. Our tour guide was amazing and full of knowledge. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in the towns history.

This was a very very weird experience. The tour started on time, it was fairly Easy to find. They provided a flashlight which was nice as the town was very dark. They gave good info but the guide seemed annoyed that we booked the history tour at dark instead of the ghost tour. She would make comments like “well I can’t show you this because you booked the history tour at night” to me: If that effects how the tour is - do not sell the tickets at night? How were we supposed to know? Also there was a trainee the whole tour following- totally cool. However the trainee and the tour guide argued the entire tour. It was sooo uncomfortable and so awkward the entire time. Then in the middle of one of their arguments the guide abruptly ended our tour. So odd. It seemed like there were a few other options in town. I would choose one of those.

Hello Kayla, I'm sorry to hear your experience was less than satisfactory. I'm aware of your situation and have taken appropriate measures to rectify the problem. Some things to note. I have my tour guides wear body cams in the event I need to review certain situations such as this. Courtney is our star tour guide and reviews reflect that. In the footage she didn't at appear annoyed that you took a night tour. Her response was " this is where the Douglas Mansion is but we can't see it because it's night but if you want to come back tomorrow and see it in the day this is where it is. Her to tone was informative not annoyed. It wouldn't bother her if it was day or night as we do tours till midnight daily. I could see her frustration with the trainee and perhaps you felt that was directed your way. We currently offer all tours at all hours due to many customers complaining that they want to take a history tour at night. So to accommodate everyone we offer history tours at night. If you book it we will fulfill your wishes. The frustration was not with you booking a night tour but with our new trainee. She had trained with all 4 tour guides and frustrated every single one of them. She didn't follow directions, caused disputes with each of my guides on tour and told us when she was leaving and going to return. If she didn't get her way she would start an argument. It was unacceptable behavior for her to act such a way in front of customers and unfortunately at the end of the day my tour guides became frustrated with her as it threw them off and effected the tour. I do apologize for that behavior but it was unforeseen as she was amazing at the interview. The consensus across the board was that she is difficult and so we have let her go from our team as her behavior is not inline with our values. This is not a daily occurrence. Our reviews reflect that. We got a bad apple in the mix and quickly removed her from the equation. You did say the tour left on time, we supplied equipment and the tour info was good. If it wasn't for this trainee causing problems and frustrating my guides I believe you would have had a 5 star experience.

Stopped in Jerome on a solo trip to explore the mining town and learn some history to bring back to my students. Had a great time on my walking history tour with Aaron. Aaron was *super* knowledgable of the town and was able to share it's history and some first hand experiences with us. I did the 7pm tour, and I am not sure if it was all the info or all of our questions, but it went a little over an hour. Personally, I didn't mind this since there was so much to see and hear about. Despite the town being on the side of the mountain, it was a fairly easy walk - maybe one location that was uphill, everything else is simple to navigate and is going downhill.
