We didn't really know what to expect from this tour, but we wanted to understand the Kennedy assassination and get our kids (both early 20s) to know about this aspect of US history. Our guide was Preston, and he provided exceptional insights into the events of that dreadful day and the few days that followed. He is from Dallas and gave insightful commentary about how the assassination affected the city and its residents, for even years afterward. I'd seen video of the day many times prior to the tour, but being on those same streets and seeing the places in person, standing on Dealey Plaza and "the grassy knoll" - makes the history so much more meaningful. Doing the tour before seeing the museum allowed us to get more from the museum exhibits as well. A definite highlight of our visit to Dallas - and definitely worth doing!

Great tour for me and my 15 year old grandson. I was 11 when the assassination took place and thought knew all about it. Now, I see I need to go back and do some more reading, especially.about the possible connections between Oswald, Ruby, and Tippit. Really enjoyed tracing the steps of Oswald from the School Book Depository to his capture at the Texas Theater. One of the highlights of the tour was visiting Oswald's last residence. It was like walking into a time capsule.
