I was on 4 when this event happened. It was great to be actually in the very room that allegedly Lee Harvey Oswald fired those fatal shots. The whole building is more or less a shrine to what happened that day. Am not a history buff by any means but a must do visit while in Dallas. There are videos and lots of info about the whole event. Fantastic.

Childhood memories of a day long ago were rekindled by this wonderful trip. Have always retained an interest and fascination with JFK and his untimely death. My own impression that Oswald did not act alone was reinforced by the opportunity to see the sites close up and hear the impressions of our tour guide Johnny. He did an excellent job in difficult circumstances when forty of our expected party were nearly an hour late in arriving. With hindsight the eight people who were on time should probably have been transferred to a smaller bus but it did not unduly affect my enjoyment. We spent two hours with Johnny at Dealey Plaza, then on Oswaldā€™s ā€œescape routeā€ and the cavalcade route too. All very interesting. It was only bettered by the actual Museum visit itself which was full of tremendous exhibits and information, not least of which was the recreation of Oswaldā€™s sniper nest at the sixth floor window. After four hours I was finally ready to leave, although my wife was close to expiry by that time! Many thanks.
