Visit the simple, concrete memorial to President Kennedy, designed by architect Philip Johnson, which called it "a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth." Finally, make a stop at the historic Texas Movie Theater in Oak Cliff, a beautiful and historic area of downtown Dallas. It gained historical significance on November 22, 1963 as the location of Lee Harvey Oswald´s arrest for the killing of Dallas police officer J.D. Tippit. Today, it hosts a mix of repertory cinema and special events. This 2-hour tour has a participation of maximum 13 travelers

Even though this happened almost 60 years ago, I’ll never forget seeing this on TV. It was nice to get an inside perspective and see all the areas of importance. From the tour of the route the motorcade took, to the place Oswald was captured, and the background of Oswald, the police officer that was killed, the weapons used, Jack Ruby, etc. very informative. Just missed the 6th floor museum due to them being closed Monday and Tuesday.
