Visit the simple, concrete memorial to President Kennedy, designed by architect Philip Johnson, which called it "a place of quiet refuge, an enclosed place of thought and contemplation separated from the city around, but near the sky and earth." Finally, make a stop at the historic Texas Movie Theater in Oak Cliff, a beautiful and historic area of downtown Dallas. It gained historical significance on November 22, 1963 as the location of Lee Harvey Oswald´s arrest for the killing of Dallas police officer J.D. Tippit. Today, it hosts a mix of repertory cinema and special events. This 2-hour tour has a participation of maximum 13 travelers

Our tour guide, Matt was very knowledgeable about the JFK assassination. He is not as knowledgeable about time management. I thought the tour was going great and enjoyed the stops at Dealy plaza, Oswald’s boarding house and the market. I didn’t realize the time discrepancy until we reached the sixth floor museum. We only had 45 minutes to consume 90 minutes worth of information. I was furious that Matt had spent so much time emailing us and doing impressions at the beginning so we didn’t have enough time before the museum closed. For the afternoon tour maybe the market could be at the end so there is enough time for the museum?
