Just brilliant, you get driven around downtown first, recreating the last part of the motorcade, down Elm, then onto Oak Cliff past LHO’s rooming house, the J.D. Tippit site, onto Texas theatre, then back. I was going to hire a car and do this myself, but so much cheaper and easier via this JFK trolley tour. There is live and recorded commentary which adds so much context to the experience for others that aren’t as familiar with the events of the tragic day. You don’t get a chance to get off at the locations, but the guide slows, and stops the trolley (where possible) at each key location, so there is ample time to take it all in. For example, I thought I wanted to drive to the J.D. Tippet site myself, but I had so much time to take the photos from the trolley that I wanted, so glad I didn’t (we stopped for at least 2 mins there). Cannot recommend enough for an easy 60-70 min highly engrossing tour.
