Beautiful inviting space. As you walk in, you are given a cup of chowder which was okay. Now choose your table...so many areas to choose. Live soft music. Buffet with several sides. Ceasar salad was tasty with crisp lettuce. Baked beans, scallop potatoes and cole slaw were very good for a buffet. Did not care for the dry cornbread, rice or chicken drumsticks. The Blueberry cake was dry too. Salmon was over cooked and option of a buttery brown sugar sauce. Iced tea, lemonade, hot tea, coffee or apple cider. Alcohol beverages for purchase. Nice quiet area for fire to roast marshmallows. We could not find the waterfall. Shuttles leaving at diferrent times and no hurry to leave. We had paid for another outdoor salmon bake in Skagway which was all around bad. This one was cleaner, more welcoming and food better. Flush Restrooms on site.

For the amount I paid, it was a straight drive to the site. The dinner was overated, as the salmon was pretty bland. There was no finese in the way the food was laid out and the stafff were unsmiling and not very friendly. There was no briefing by the driver as to what we could do there. The waterfall and old mininbg site was nothing exceptional. and the music...a laid back musician who was playing his kind of music and not music to fit in with the age group of the majority. He probably could not find employment elsewhere. Overall, a diappointing experience. Would never go there again. The reception at the wharf was also an unfriendly one.

Sorry, we didn't meet your expectation. It is an outdoor buffet-style restaurant. I do apologize for not being given a greeting and instruction on the bus. That is something our team is supposed to do. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
