The salmon bake was delicious. The buffet of sides was plentiful, dessert was blueberry cake, fresh lemonade, chowder, great music. There was chicken for those who don’t like fish and beer and soft drinks for sale.

My wife and I enjoyed Juneau in general. I can see why people visit friends or go for a job and never leave. The glacier and visitors center was great, but The Alaskan Salmon bake was so unexpectedly good. First of all, the people are very friendly and work hard to get everyone served. The atmosphere is beautiful. There is a river running next to the dining area and there was a live acoustic group playing on a small stage. There is a small trail that leads back to a beautiful waterfall and an old miners cave. Great for pics. Finally, the food was really good. My wife is not even a salmon fan at home and she thought it was really good. Plus they have a clam chowder that rivals any I have ever had. I would definitely go to the Alaskan Salmon bake again. It was worth every penny, especially if bundled with a glacier tour.

The Salmon Bake was delicious and the service was great! The gold panning was fun and Sterling did a great job with our tour and panning. The only thing that disappointed me was Sterling cursed several times on the tour.
