Overview

Our general tour! Meet our Dock Rep at your cruise ship dock and board our courtesy shuttle. Enjoy a scenic ride to the Auke Bay boat harbor and return (about 25 minutes each way). A complimentary stop at the Brotherhood Bridge for a view of the Mendenhall Glacier is available before or after each tour depending on that day's schedule and weather. Enjoy the difference of a personalized tour! About 4 hours and 15 minutes. This 4 hour and 15 minute tour includes approximately 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 3 hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, walking on the dock to the boat, and bathroom breaks.

Captain John and Celesta were not only friendly, but very knowledgeable about the whales and our surroundings. They answered everyone’s questions and were overall excellent hosts. This company uses smaller boats with about 12 people on board, which made it a very intimate and exciting trip. Everyone has a great view and the captain doesn’t rush. We were able to view the whales from a safe distance and could hear them spouting!!!! We saw 11 whales. We would highly recommend this company if you want a great whale watching experience!

We saw a lot of humpback whales and the shuttle picked us up from our hotel, which was awesome. The captain and naturalist were great. However, the actual whale watching was shorter than we expected, around 2.5 hours.
