Our general tour! Meet our Dock Rep at your cruise ship dock and board our courtesy shuttle. Enjoy a scenic ride to the Auke Bay boat harbor and return (about 25 minutes each way). A complimentary stop at the Brotherhood Bridge for a view of the Mendenhall Glacier is available before or after each tour depending on that day's schedule and weather. Enjoy the difference of a personalized tour! About 4 hours and 15 minutes. This 4 hour and 15 minute tour includes approximately 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 3 hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, walking on the dock to the boat, and bathroom breaks.

Captain Ryan and Naturalist Annie gave us a great tour. The day was incredible with the bright sunshine and calm waters but it was Ryan and Annie that made the day. We spent three hours on the water with a number of whale sightings. We even got to see a whale breaching! Unfortunately, 45 ton whales move awfully fast so I missed the picture but it was amazing. Along with the whales there were a number of sea lions and Eagles. Annie was always around to describe the sights and we learned lots. All in all the experience was fabulous.

The captain was tremendous. He was very attentive and did his best to make our trip the best it could be. The smaller boat was the best part of it being that there weren't too many people to jockey for the whale watching. I recommend this company highly.
