No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS – Persons weighing 260 pounds (clothed weight) or more must pay an additional $150.00 to secure extra space in the aircraft. Not claiming the comfort seat or providing inaccurate weights may cause tour delays and cancellations without refunds. You must PRE RESERVE your comfort seat. If you require one, contact Coastal Helicopters.
ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

We had taken the floatplane trip the day before and could not imagine that the helicopter to the glacier would be better. It was and the scenery and walking on the glacier were incredible. Dane was our pilot and he made the flight easy and thoroughly enjoyable. When we landed on the glacier and stepped out of the helicopter, I felt like I was walking on the moon. It was totally quiet and beautiful. It was an unforgettable experience.

I thought it would be great to take my first Heli ride on a glacier and my wife, while excited, was a bit apprehensive flying the Heli. She got to be the copilot and loved the experience both in the air and on the ground.

Very well organized tour operator on the ground and in the air. The pilot was top shelf in flight, on commentary and locating in air and on ground points of interest.
