No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS – Persons weighing 260 pounds (clothed weight) or more must pay an additional $150.00 to secure extra space in the aircraft. Not claiming the comfort seat or providing inaccurate weights may cause tour delays and cancellations without refunds. You must PRE RESERVE your comfort seat. If you require one, contact Coastal Helicopters.
ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

This helicopter tour was the highlight of our vacation. First of all, let me tell you that I am very afraid of heights. I booked this because I knew my husband would love it, but I was dreading it.. Boy, was I wrong. This was amazing!! I loved every minute and not once was I afraid. Our helicopter pilot Scott was an expert. Not only was he a good pilot but he was a great guide and was so knowledgeable about the glaciers and the area in general. He took off with such a smooth lift that you couldn't even feel it and the same when he landed on the glacier. I would recommend this to everyone visiting Juneau.

Great excursion to be on with a wonderful pilot. We were lucky that it was not cancelled since it was so windy a few hours earlier. Will repeat if i come back again.
