No-bag policy. If you have medical needs that require a carry on, please note at time of booking. All bags brought to base will be stored in the tour office until you return from your flight
Dress warmly and in layers, and wear rubber-soled shoes such as a light hiking boot or athletic shoes. The tour company will provide overshoes and can supply raincoats as needed. Remember to bring your camera, film and binoculars!

WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS – Persons weighing 260 pounds (clothed weight) or more must pay an additional $150.00 to secure extra space in the aircraft. Not claiming the comfort seat or providing inaccurate weights may cause tour delays and cancellations without refunds. You must PRE RESERVE your comfort seat. If you require one, contact Coastal Helicopters.
ADA - We have an ADA lift that assists guests with getting in and out of the helicopter. If guests use the ADA lift, they will be required to stay inside the helicopter on the glacier. While on the glacier the pilot-guide will open the doors so guests can still take in the sights, sounds and smells. The ADA lift has a weight restriction of no more than 250 lbs. You MUST notify Coastal Helicopters if you will be requiring the ADA helicopter lift.

Fantastic tour and well worth the expense although it is expensive. Highly recommend Coastal Helicopters and especially Katie who works there, she is a ROCK STAR. Here's why... My wife and I were doing this tour and I needed a seat belt extender. After a long while searching for one they found they did not have one for the helicopter I was in. Katie kept us informed throughout and then the decision was made to pull us out of the helicopter we were in and put us on a different one with seat belts that I could use. The end result was a private tour with just us and the pilot at no additional expense! Katie took care of everything and was great throughout, she really made us feel at ease and was very professional.

Flying to the glacier was smooth and easy and we felt very safe. Once we got on the glacier it was freakin awesome! To jump around on it, see the blue pools of water that were so deep you can't see the bottom, drinking the water and the overall beauty was fantastic. Simply a thrill!

Highly recommend and saved a lot of money doing this directly instead of through the cruise ship. I will say it again - Coastal was great and made it even more special by how they handled everything.
