Our weather was incredible, Tom and Katie did all they could to put us on Whales. I got photo and video of Humpbacks and Orca's breeching the water. Everyone on the boat seemed to be really enjoying the tour. The Salmon Back later after was charming and hit the spot.

Captain Terry and whale expert Katie were by far the best guides for all our tours throughout our entire Alaska cruise. Katie's knowledge of the whales, the comfort of the boat and Terry's knack for finding the whales treated us to quite a show! Several close whale encounters.

We booked through our cruise - Princess - and they must know their excursions as this was just wonderful Sara and Tom were our crew on our boat trip out to see the whales. And yes we saw six different whales plus a sea lion munching away on a salmon. That sea lion was pestered by a bunch of seagulls. Highly recommend this trip! It is across town from the cruise ships so there is a bus to take you between the locations. We saw a slew of bald eagles along the drive too looking for a meal while the tide rolled out. The boats are quite fast so more time seeing whales versus in transit going out to see the whales. A bit boxy looking but they are purpose built for whale watching. The salmon bake is tucked in the woods along a nice stream. Best salmon you will have your entire trip. Rustic camp feel with picnic tables under covers as Juneau is a rain forest.
