Welcome to Traverse City's original kayak, bike & brew tour...KaBrew! TC boasts some must visit microbreweries and pubs. The River Outfitters will help you enjoy Traverse City’s best breweries in style on your KaBrew Tour!

We will pick you up promptly at 1pm at Little Fleet a fixed collection of food trucks offering an eclectic array of bites, plus a bar & outdoor seating. Located at 448 E Front St, Traverse City there is plenty of parking at a local parking garage as well as street parking. We will bring you to the starting point at the Boardman lake. You'll paddle across the Lake to begin at Right Brain Brewery for your first tasting, then back in your boat to paddle down to The Filling Station for round two. Hop on your bike at Hull Park and peddle the Tart trail where you’ll stop along the way at Silver Spruce Brewery. You’ll finish up your 3-4 hour trip back at Little fleet for more tasting and dinner if you like.

Right Brain Brewery

You'll bike from Happy Town to Right Brain Brewery where you will stop in and taste* their beer. *Tasting fee not included in price

Traverse City

For our third stop we will Kayak to The Rare Bird Brewery in the heart of Traverse City.

Back to where you started the tour will end at The Workshop located in the warehouse district of Traverse City where you will contact us to come pick you up and drive you back to your vehicles.

We started off with a leisurely bike ride to tour two breweries (Right Brain and The Filling Station). The beers were great at both, and the flatbread pizza that we got at The Filling Station was fantastic. After lunch we traded our bikes in for kayaks and cruised down the Boardman River to visit two more breweries (Rare Bird and Workshop Brewing). The beers were great across the board. We finished up by paddling to Sunset Park Beach where we were met by folks from The River Outfitters. They loaded up our kayaks and drove us back to our car. Truly a fantastic day in Traverse City, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

My friends and I had the best time. It was the highlight of our trip. Tawny and Johnny were wonderful. I would recommend to anyone going to Traverse City to do this! :)

Scott the owner was great, super nice guy. We did the bike and kayak tour. Easy bike ride around the lake and short kayak trip to the river area. Lots of fun and also part challenge. Its all about the adventure. Highly recommend!
