What To Expect

Huleia National Wildlife Refuge

The captain will narrate this scenic 2 1/2 mile trip up the Hulei'a River. You will be able to see and learn the famous Menehune Fish Pond, Famous movie sights, A glimpse of the National Wildlife Refuge, and Rice family ranch. Fish, birds and native plants remain up river.

Kalapaki Beach

We spend some time in Kalapaki bay. Often this is where we will end up for sunset. History of one of Kauai's first hotel, as well as the construction of Nawiliwili Harbor, and Ninini Point Lighthouse.

Short but sweet boat ride up the river at sunset. The captain is also a marine biologist and was eager to share his knowledge. The first mate and our bartender was so sweet! Such a nice way to start the evening.

Excellent tour on all levels. Captain Stevie was waiting to greet us well before the arrival time. Chatted with all and displayed his charming personality. So much information was shared regarding history of people as well as plant life. The tour was much more than expected. First Mate Sage was also a terrific addition. Good times held by all.
