We used the Kauai Bundle & the Oahu Bundle of Shaka Guide. Both were terrific! We never got lost while using it either. It worked great with my phone, easy to understand, interesting stories of the islands & locations, fun humor, and took us to several very cool places off the beaten path that ended up being some of our favorites. Highly recommend. Each tour also has Tour Stops & Maps & Highlights & Tips. You can pause, resume, close, or join a tour at any point along it. It was also useful as a GPS tracker even while the tour was paused. We did all 4 Kauai tours plus returned to some of our favorite new spots the last day.

This tour gets 3 stars mainly for the narrator. He did an excellent job of providing step-by-step directions. He also gave great narratives about each area along the way. The thing is there's not much to see.

The Shaka guide is perfect! We drove the Waimea Canyon tour. The guide gives great background stories and facts. It feels as though you have your own guide in the car. Also, trust the suggestions for where and when to stop and take a look. For us, there was a bit of a learning curve. You must be sure to follow gps, then start the tour when you're at the designated point. I'm sure once you get the hang of it, you can start and stop tours easily.
