This was a great option to see Kauai at our own pace. We scheduled an activity every day and did a tour of an area each day. The only problem we had was syncing to our map app to get to the starting points. We just ended using two phones for that.

Just do it!! Nothing could be more intimate than driving your own vehicle with a self-guided tour of Kauai. The app worked perfectly, even without internet and told us exactly where to pull over to stop. The tour narration was amazing and hilarious, the value was everything we could have asked for. 5 stars and highly recommend Shaka tours!!

Honestly, I was shocked at how fantastic this tour app was, and you can't beat the price. This is definitely worth getting if you have access to a vehicle while you're in Kauai. The app was so easy to use. You can easily start and stop the tours at any time; the tours detect where you are via GPS so they will restart wherever you are. The directions were spot on and easy to follow. Each of the 4 tousr contains tons of sites/activities. And the sites they took us to were wonderful - beautiful waterfalls, interesting historic sites, greating hiking trails, etc. So worth it!
