Kauai's Waimea Canyon and South Side Private Guided Tour

Overview
[FOR UP TO 6 PASSENGERS, private tour]
This tour starts by heading directly to the Waimea Canyon on the west side. On the way there, we will stop to stretch our legs and take a look at the Hanapepe Valley overlook. At Waimea town, we will begin our ascent into the canyon. We will stop at about 1800 feet for our first view, stop at a miniature waterfall for pictures, take a short walk on a nature trail with native Hawaiian plants where you can stand at the very edge of the canyon, and then on to the main canyon viewing area. From there we will head to the top stopping to see the Waipo'o Falls on the way. At the very top we will view two different vantage points of the Kalalau Valley from 4700 feet down to the ocean. On the way back down, listen to a historical tale about the Kalalau Valley. Lunch. Then to the south side for Spouting Horn, Poipu Beach (monk seals) and a walk to see the Makauwahi Sinkhole Cave in Mahaulepu State Park.

Noah was very, very knowledgeable. He took us to special viewing point of Waimea Canyon, to the lava caves and beach locations. I would highly recommend Noah!!!

Noah picked us up right on time from our hotel. We went straightaway to the canyon, but with several short stops to look at the vistas on the way. Good photo ops we would not have known about on our own. We have a couple of people in our group that needed some extra time, but that was not an issue, because it was just our group. Noah was very informative and fun. Made a couple of short stops we were interested in (coffee roasting shop with opportunity to taste different coffee, and tee shirt shop that makes shirts dyed with the famous Kauai red dirt.) We had a lovely lunch, and then went back to the hotel, after trying a couple of spots that were closed due to severe storms a day or two before. (A swinging bridge and a cave). It is so nice to not have to worry about parking, which way to go, and the good places to stop. Highly recommend!

Had the most wonderful day touring Kauai. Thank you to Noah who made the tour so interesting with his stories, anecdotes and knowledge of the area. He took us to the most beautiful sights and was mindful of our age and inability to walk long distances whilst ensuring we didnā€™t miss anything. A great lunch in a local restaurant was a welcome break during the tour. Once again many thanks for a fabulous day. We would recommend Noah to anyone visiting Kauai. All the best Ingrid and Rod
