Kawaihae Whale Watch - Guaranteed

Overview
Every winter, thousands of humpback whales travel to the warm, shallow waters of Hawai‘i to mate, give birth, and raise their young. Learn the true scale of humpback whales through an intimate encounter on a small-group whale watch, where every seat is a front seat. Get off the beaten path and sail past sheer cliff walls of the windward Kohala shoreline as you discover breathtaking vistas of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. Discover whales and the perfect perspective close to the water to allow for a once-in-a-lifetime viewing. Ocean stewardship is deeply embedded in Native Hawaiian culture. Humpback whales, or koholā, are an important part of history, legends, and connection to the sea.

Was a fantastic fun filled trip, all the staff were amazing and determined to find the whales on our behalf, couldn’t fault the trip.

Captain Brian and Tobias were great guides. They knew exactly where to take us to see whales. It was a great experience with a small group.

Recommended by one of the booths at Kings Marketplace, we booked on line. Good information on what the choices were. So easy and able to do waivers electronically. Good communication on how to be equipped and ready for the tour. So convenient being able to leave from A Bay. Captain Brian and Luke were amazing hosts. Friendly but professional. Lots of information about expectations and getting the most out of the tour. We opted for 40 ft power boat as a preference for whale watching. Closer to the water for seeing the whales under the boat, and the overall experience. And of course we totally lucked out and found whales as soon as we left the bay so spent less time driving to see whales as they just kept coming by us. So a little course correction and motoring towards the action but we could stay standing seeing more of the whales all around us. Good at offering lots of fun facts and solid info about the whales and good at answering all our questions. Was a fabulous morning. Would absolutely recommend this company and return myself!
