Guides are required to wear masks at the shop and rental stand but as soon as tours and lessons begin it is extremely easy to maintain a safe distance and the use of masks will only happen if requested by the client.

Katelyn had our kayak ready to go and gave us an overview of the best areas in the harbor and beach area to go. The boats are clean and in excellent condition. Their central location was a great launching point for our beach kayak adventure!

Visited the west end of the Santa Barbara beach and found the Cal Coast Adventures crew on the beach renting kayaks. Katelyn checked us in and gave us some great tips on where to kayak to have the most fun including around the marina and under the Cali Catamaran. They provided everything we needed including life jackets. Super easy. Highly recommend!

Parked up just west of the pier and found the pop up tent. Katelyn was super sweet and informative - rental was easy on our phone and their QR code - all contactless and fast. We were in the water within a few minutes, following Katelyn's great advice about where to kayak. We saw sea lions and even kayaked under a giant yacht, which we never would have thought to do had she not mentioned it. Highly recommend!
