Roger has done this for years. Is it fun? Yes! Is it easy? No! This is harder than you think it is. You think of kayaking on an easy lake, this is the open water - ocean. Nobody can control the weather, don't expect Roger to! Roger communicated very well, from emails, to text messaging. Finding the location was very easy and very well explained. We rolled our kayak, which was not easy, but we prevailed and had a great time regardless. We saw several sea turtles and some fish. If you cannot kayak, then renting some snorkel gear and going out on your own is the best bet. We snorkeled on our own and saw a sea turtle. Roger takes you to a spot where you are guaranteed to see sea turtles. It is a great time and you learn about kayaking. If you want fun and adventure then go on this trip!

The trip was great and we saw turtles and many fishes while snorkeling, the only advice that this trip require physical fitness and basic swimming skills and may not fit all people, getting into the ocean and back is one of the challenging parts of the trip with kayaking, Roger the instructor is awesome.

I had a really great tour with Red. He is a little high strung but this is because he is very aware of the ocean and it's danger and wants everyone to be safe. I saw a few turtles and alot of fish, it was beautiful. Absolute must do when coming to maui. I suggest you BATH yourself in sunblock. I got close to the worst sunburn on my legs. Bring a hat and glasses and highly advise buying a long sleave sun shirt for diving. The sun is crazy intense. Have fun all!
