Deception Pass State Park

Deception Pass State Park is Washington's most popular state park. Over one million visitors and residents visit Deception Pass to explore its beautiful trails and scenic beaches, and to walk across the historic Deception Pass Bridge.

Fidalgo Island

Bowman Bay is located on Fidalgo Island and offers a peaceful place for kayakers of all ages and abilities. Just outside the bay participants are treated to expansive views of Fidalgo Island and the rest of the San Juan islands.

Lisa is a great guide who told us all about the wildlife, rock formations, tides, etc. She was patient with our group which had a small kiddo. Highly recommend.

We had 3 adults and a toddler on the tour and it was a great way to see Deception Pass! Lisa was our guide and did a great job; as she was very informative and even helped me out when my son got a bit restless! It’s great with the family or even going solo!

The experience was great from start to finish. This was our first time in sea kayaks, and it makes sense if one is new to this part of Puget Sound to go out the first time with an excellent guide and guide company. The kayaks were easy to paddle and surprisingly stable. Blake was our guide. His knowledge and enthusiasm and his ability to explain, demonstrate, and guide clearly and on point were top notch. The process of checking us in and orienting us was clear and good. We will be back for other trips with Anacortes Kayak Tours.
