Deception Pass State Park

Deception Pass State Park is Washington's most popular state park. Over one million visitors and residents visit Deception Pass to explore its beautiful trails and scenic beaches, and to walk across the historic Deception Pass Bridge.

Fidalgo Island

Bowman Bay is located on Fidalgo Island and offers a peaceful place for kayakers of all ages and abilities. Just outside the bay participants are treated to expansive views of Fidalgo Island and the rest of the San Juan islands.

This is an amazing activity for families! We have 2 young children who wanted to try kayaking. This was the perfect amount of time. We saw a harbor seal, oyster catchers, crabbers, boats and so much more. The entire process was easy and very safe. Thank you to our guide Joe who was amazing! He explained everything and was very engaging with our kids.

The group was great, equipment easy to use and the natural environment beyond spectacular! Mr. Tim the leader, was really awesome. His knowledge of both kayaking and our surroundings -including interesting tidbits of Geology, Biology, Zoology & local facts was great and enhanced our excursion. The company's online registration was not great, but could have been our lack of Wi-Fi/cell coverage at points.

In a "worst case scenario", guests can always ask one of our staff to use the landline in our concession facility in order to contact our main office to complete the reservation.
