In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

We saw hundreds of Manta Rays swimming in front of us! They were moving too fast to get a stable image. They appeared to be smaller than expected but maybe because of the distance. We stayed in the water for 30 min so we didn't have to suffer in the water. Recommend!

Small group tour. Made sure guests were comfortable. Guides were knowledgeable. Plenty of equipment available. Provided hot drink and snack after.

This is what you’re looking for if you want an experience without a bunch of tourists. We loved it! We went with a small group and saw many mantas. Enjoyed our time in the water while listening to fun facts about the mantas. We got hot chocolate and cookies at the end. Everyone was nice. We’ll definitely book it again!
