The actual experience in the water with the Manta Rays was amazing. What wasn't good was the fact that the company allowed two couples to book the adventure that did not know how to swim and were extremely frightened to get in the water. The person that checked us in told them that Mano in the boat would help them get in the water and explain to the guy in the water they couldn't swim. This did not happen. Mano yelled at one woman, and the guy in the water yelled at one man that was panicking when he couldn't put his legs on the water noodles. The company should not allow people to go into the ocean at night that do NOT KNOW HOW TO SWIM.

Thank you for sharing Gilbert. I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed seeing Kona's amazing mantas. I also agree and feel your frustration when guests book this tour and do not meet the standard activity requirements or are dishonest about their capabilities and disregard our stated swimming and snorkeling requirements. The other couple you are reffering to booked through a 3rd party platform. While we have listed that previous swimming and snorkeling experience is required on all of our booking platforms, we cannot control those that choose to ignore it and book anyways. I have turned away many guest's who did not meet this requirement and will continue to do so. I am sorry these guest were dishonest and still went out on the tour. For those reading please do not book this tour if you are unable to swim or have never snorkeled before. It tarnishes the experience for all involved. Mahalo for taking the time to leave us a review and we hope to see you again in the future. Aloha.
