In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

The local family business was a knowledgable and patient team. They made sure we were comfortable on the boat and in the water as well as afterwards with hot drinks. Our in-water guide made sure to place us where we could get the best “show” and it did not disappoint! We loved the 6-7 rays that hung out. Amazing. My family will definitely use this operator again and again!

This excursion is run by a personable local family (father & daughter I believe). They were informative & patient and supplied everything we needed, even down to hot drinks at the end. The knowledgable snorkel team was fun to hang with (literally, hang) and guaranteed our manta ray interactions. The experience was one of a kind and I would do it a hundred times more with this tour operator!
