In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Seeing the beautiful mantas up close. Also enjoyed seeing the swarming fish. The whole experience from suiting up in wetsuits and snorkel masks, the boat ride and then getting in the water was remarkable.

We had a great time and had a huge manta below us almost the whole time getting up close and personal! The staff on the boat and in the water with us were so enthusiastic about the wildlife and let us stay a little longer because we had some dolphins playing around us. Would recommend the experience!!

We had a wonderful experience. Staff was very friendly. They were thorough with explaining about the process. Our diver, Ake, was very knowledgeable and professional even though a person from another manta group was being very rude to him. We got to see the manta rays, which was really exciting. We’d go again. Hot tip: bring Dramamine if you get seasick!!!
