In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Great experience. I like this tour as it is a small group of 6 people. My son is 8 years old and this is his first time snorkeling. He loved it!

Amazing experience being so up close with magnificent mantas. I’ve swam with mantas scuba diving before (not a packaged manta-specific dive) but this was especially incredible in that they came up within inches of your face doing the barrel rolls! Corey, Keith, and Kelly were a fantastic team. Loved that the boat ride out was only a couple of minutes so we stayed warm.

Great time snorkeling the manta rays. We saw 4 big mantas that swam up to us for the whole time we were there. Was a great experience.
