In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Absolutely sensational experience not to be missed if you're ever on the west coast of the Big Island. Corey, Keith, Kelly (and of course Gypsy) were all top notch, super friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Ride out is only 2-3 minutes so no big deal if you're not good with boats. Entered the water, after 10 mins only saw a "fly by" of a single Manta and thought we were out of luck but then a couple of minutes in they came, and it was incredible watching them do loops below us, coming so close we were brushed out the way a couple of times. Everyone on our trip had the time of their lives. Can't recommend it enough - mahalo, guys!

The whole experience was amazing. Jimmy was right there to check us in and get us all prepared with the right gear. Cory guided us in the water where we had an up close and personal experience with the mantas. Keith was a great captain of the boat. The whole process was smooth and efficient, but we never felt rushed. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!
