In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

A magical experience. Better than expected and I expected a lot. The staff also did a wonderful job. Highly recommended. One of the best experience you can get on the island. Up there with that Austrian guy flying his airplane glider in Hana

The manta rays came so close to us and we saw a bunch!! They knew they were getting a free meal when the lights came out and they are not afraid to come close. It was an amazing experience that everyone should do.

As soon as I hopped off the boat I saw at least 5 manta rays. When I got to the light board, the knowledgeable guide was already waiting for us. As we hung onto the board we witnessed around 10-15 manta rays performing their graceful acrobatics up close and personal. Sometimes 20 feet away and sometimes an inch and a half from your face. Literally. One of the best things I've done, and the crew who took care of us were highly professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They even provided the proper gear and refreshments. Hats off to them and their hard work!
