In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Everyone was so kind and so nice. Super informative and the manta ray did a nice cool show for us. We went at 11pm and it was so worth it.

This was a wonderful experience! The guides were friendly and helpful . We saw so many huge manta rays and even some bottle nosed dolphins. Would definitely recommend if you come to the Big Island!

I had no idea Manta Rays were so huge! I’m a little freaked out by fish but this was incredible. The perfect amount of time in the water with them. Our group was only 6 people - I saw some groups that had way more and it took them forever to get situated. They get within centimeters of you but they turn so accurately and gracefully without touching you. Great guide Dylan. Great check-in guy Lihaou. And I didn’t catch the boat captain’s name but she was lovely too. Must do experience!

Surprise! Mantas are nowhere near the size of your average rays...they are massive but nimble.
