This excursion was nicely done and the equipment that was provided was clean and in very good condition. The amount of time spent in the water was adequate. We saw 5 manta rays that swam right up very close to us.

The night snorkeling with Manta Rays was the third snorkeling tour I had in the same day. I would say it was a perfect finish for the day. Our tour only takes 6 ppl, which is very nice. The harbor is easy to find, once I got there, other tour guides was able to point out where My tour was. They prepared everything for us. The ride to the spot was very short, 2-3 minutes and we were there. This saves us a lot of time, thereā€™s not much to see in the dark and night sailing can be very chilly. As soon as I got into the water I spotted a manta ray immediately. Itā€™s just getting better for the whole time. The Rays were putting up a show for us. They were huge, joyful, very friendly, and very touchy (we didnā€™t touch them, they came to touch us)! And it seems to me that they glow in the light! It was such a nice way to complete the day!

Sounds like you had quite a day on the water and we definitely appreciate you joining us later that evening. One thing that is unique for us and that we do differently from other operators is using "Blue Lights". The mantas actually prefer this light set up and will feed under our snorkel board longer while appearing to have an electric blue glow about them, although their bellies are actually white. We have found that this is one of the better ways to give our guest's a great experience while getting them up close and personal with Kona's gentle giants. We thank you for the review and hope to see you again. Aloha.

Fantastic trip: saw 4 or 5 giant Mantas swimming 3 inches from us. Efficient and thoughtful tour operators: there are three of them: one on land, one driving the boat, and one floating in the right spot to guide us to wait for the Mantas. Boat ride was swift (about 3 to 5 minutes), half an hour in the water: just the right time before you get motion sickness from the bobbing. All three people are gentle and friendly. Highly recommended!

Thank you. Our team works hard to provide our guests with a smooth and efficient experience. Most people don't realize how big Manta Rays can get so the first time one comes up to you it is a eye-opening, jaw-dropping experience. Mahalo for joining us and we hope to see you again. Aloha.
