In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Our family of 6 absolutely loved this tour. It was small (just our family), convenient (walking distance from the sheraton), and absolutely amazing! Our little guys (7 and 8) had no problem holding on to the light and using the gear. There were wetsuits for all of us. The tour guide and boat captain were incredibly nice, knowledgeable, helpful, and awesome! Excellent team!

Kind staffs, comfortable, Yanaray(one of kona mantaray)who we met. When we check in Sam and John made us very comfortable and give us safety briefing with all information we need know during tour and about Kona mantaray. They were very professional and kind. It is night time snorkeling so we worried about darkness and cold water but it was not like that. Water was warm and the crews guide us very well and professionally. We felt very safe. We met Yana Ray 4m long Manta. She was beautiful and stay with us more than 20min. She was like dancing with us and play. The tour with Hawaii Island and ocean tour was awesome and we are very satisfied. Highly recommend this tour to all of you who plan to take manta ray night snorkeling in Kona bigisland.
