In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Would highly recommend this experience! Hunter, Mikey, & Dillon were fantastic. The location is perfect - less than 5 minutes out to the manta rays. Guides with other companies were asking our guides for info about the Rays in general and about the specific rays we were seeing. These guides know their stuff and work hard to ensure you have a great experience. It is stunning to see the rays diving and flipping in front of you! The length of time is perfect - any longer and we would have gotten very cold, even with wetsuits (they do offer hot drinks at the end!). Our sons (9, 11) did great. Our 6 year old tried it for about 7 minutes but was a bit hesitant (he has prior snorkeling experience but the dark creeped him out a bit). He hung on the boat for the remainder with Mikey and did fine.

Such a fun experience. To be so close and get to see these beautiful Manta Ray's in their natural environment, what an experience. It's a must do when on the big island. Very knowledge tour group as well. Loved the small size of the group, made it more personal.
