Small groups and a short boat ride set our experience apart.

In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

My daughter and husband went on the 9pm mantaray night tour and absolutely loved it they said the smaller boat with less people what is the best part they took their time explained everything and even got to see 12 mantarays. The other bigger boats tried gathering around us. If you are thinking of doing this charter don't hesitate it was amazing and magical!!!!

What an experience! Service was great, weather was perfect and the staff was very informative. They took time to answer anyone questions and very knowledgeable about the Mantas. We were so lucky to have around 14 mantas swim with us. We also had to bottle nose dolphins join in also. A experience I won’t ever forget! Highly recommend the crew from Hawaii Island & Ocean Tours!

This was probably the coolest experience I have done. The staff were amazing. The only thing I would change is the staff or someone helping with photos

Unfortunately, because we are one of the smaller boating companies with 6 passengers per boat tour, we are only able to accommodate one check-in guide.
