In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

We enjoyed seeing the Manta Rays. That part was great. However, we had an arrival time of 7:40. We were called at 7:15 and they asked us if we could come earlier. We were already in the car and told them we would get there by 7:30. When we got there, they rushed us to put on wet suits and to get to snorkel sight because they had already taken the other people out to the sight. We had no briefing about Manta Rays or time to prepare our cameras, etc. A fun experience turned into a stressful rushed experience. Our snorkel time was also cut short as the other people were out so long and ready to come back. They also made it appear as if we were late for our tour and that they accommodated us by taking us out anyway. Not happy at all with the service we received from your company.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! We had booked this excursion cause my wife loves Manta Rays and she was not disappointed. The group was small and the instructions were easy to follow. The views were spectacular there were Manta rays a plenty and the would swim right up in front of you like within an inch. These gentle creatures are so impressive to see and this experience is well worth your time. The staff was great and very knowledgable.

You will love this experience! The mantas swim so close that you can (almost) touch them. The snorkeling spot is just a few minutes away by boat so you can get down to the fun almost immediately. Well worth the price.
