In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

I chose this tour mainly due to the small group size (of 6 people) and the reviews. Check in was smooth and quick, we got the wet suits, seems Lihao had all clean/dry suits for all people needing it, so no worries of getting the wet wetsuit from the group before us. It was 5mins boat ride and 30mins snorkel time which worked perfectly for us. We saw more than a handful of rays, they are marvellous. Zac was a great guide, seems all the guides from different tour companies help with each other, we got another girl and gentlemen at times helping our group, that was nice. We felt safe and had an amazing time, highly recommend!

Snorkeling with the manta rays was an amazing experience. I highly recomend going at night, it gives the whole experience a more sural vibe.
