Highly recommend this company, crew professional from the moment we arrived, very informative and only 6 max persons provided a more personal experience compared to other boats around. Onto the oceanā€¦.Captain Cory really friendly, quick boat trip and into the water to meet Zacā€¦what a dude! He made us all fell totally relaxed in the water & then head down and WOW!!! Blessed to see multiple majestic Manta Rays, counted 7 at one time and what a show! Seriously, words are not enough to describe this lifetime experience, just book you wonā€™t be disappointed & this crew enhance with insight and smiles all the way! Thank you xxx. (We went at 8.20pm..think it helped bring completely dark!)

We didn't know where to park. We weren't told about parking so we drove down to the boat ramp and got yelled at and sworn at by a local. Just ruined our trip. So then we had to go find a parking spot on the road. They were behind which was ok but I felt the owners just didn't communicate very well. So a lot of people just sort of stood around waiting to know what to do. The refreshments were sitting in the back of a van. Granola bars and a tub of coffee. Idk, if you wanna impress your clients then maybe communicate better and have a better refreshment set up. We only saw 2 mantas which was disappointing. We got a very late start because a lady in our group freaked out when she touched the water so the owners had to deal with her and finally get her back to the boat. It was just a mess. It stunk bc her freak out cost us all time with the mantas.

Aloha Katy, Thanks for sharing these details on your night out with us. I'm sorry the actions of other people primarily made this a poor experience for you. Normally the manta ray night snorkel is a highlight for visitors, and we would be willing to work with you if you would ever like to come back and try the tour again. Getting to see 2 mantas is good and we are always grateful for when they do show up. While I can't control the mantas or predict other people's behavior I can address the parking, communication and complimentary refreshments provided. Instructions for parking are on our TripAdvisor/Viator listing. This can be found under the departure details where it states: "Address is 78-7138 Kaleiopapa Street. Look for our white van near the boat launches down from the Outrigger Hotel. Parking is free along the side of the road. AVOID parking in the long skinny narrow stalls designated for vehicles w/boat trailers." We have also updated our confirmation emails to try and make this easier and more clearer for guests. There is a significant period of time from when guest's are asked to arrive to when the boat is scheduled to take groups out. We use this period of time to get everyone prepped and ready before boarding the boat. This preparation period includes, being fitted with snorkel gear, trying on wetsuits, finish signing any waivers and receiving a manta briefing with boat safety instructions. We have asked our check-in attendants to try and be more engaging and commutative if the preparation stage finishes early and guests find them selves awkwardly waiting for the boat to arrive. The snacks and drinks provided on the manta tour are simple and offer guest something warm to drink or light to eat for after the snorkel. We are not looking to impress anyone with our snack and drink selection, but rather want to offer something before guest's leave for the night. The thermos containers are filled with hot (and cold) water with packets of hot cocoa, tea and coffee placed on the side to be added later. Cookies and granola bars are provided as well. These items are kept in the back of the van as we are not allowed to set up tables and chairs near the boat ramps. We can look at making the refreshment display a little more appealing, but for now it is what it is. I hope this helps address some of your concerns and that we might have the opportunity to have you both back out with us again. We appreciate your business and for taking the time to leave us a review. If I can be of further assistance please feel to reach out via email or call our reservation line. Sincerely, Ashlie

We had a great time doing the night snorkel cruise with Cory, Ake and Amaya. All three of them made us very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The boat ride was fast (which I was thankful for as I get motion sickness fairly easily), and then we got right into the water, where we hung on to a board with lights underneath to attract plankton so we could see the amazing manta rays. Cory and Ake communicated with other boats in the area and we moved as needed to ensure we saw some manta rays. We ended up getting an amazing show. What a unique and fund experience!
