In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

This was without a doubt the best experience I have ever had. Our tour guides were amazing and made sure we were comfortable / having fun the entire time. They talked us through everything so we knew what was going on and made the experience 10x better with their fun and positive attitudes. This was the most out of body experience in the best way possible. The manta rays are absolutely beautiful and they swim right up against your body. I even saw one smile as they were feeding! If there’s one thing to do on this island, this is it. You will not regret it!!!

Excellent experience! Small group of 6 people. We had to wait 1 hour as they were running late, but hey, the experience was sensational! If you are on the Big Island this is not to be missed.
