In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

I had one of the best experiences diving with many manta rays which came super close! Our guide was really nice, trying to find the best spot, explaining some interesting manta ray facts, and she also answered all the questions we had. Definitely recommend going out with them, because of the small group size (6 people), best price/performance ratio, and the hot chocolate you get afterwards to warm up

There were no manta rays, so it’s a lot of money to see nothing. Apparently you can come again but who has time for that?

Aloha Michel, We are sorry you weren't able to see manta rays on your trip. As stated in the description of our tours, we are not able to guarantee the sightings of wildlife animals. Our Manta Ray Policy is set in place to be able to compensate for the resources and staff of the tour. When opting for a tour based on wildlife presence, there is always a slight chance that they will not show. As a business, this is also a chance we take as it depletes the outcome of our main goal: providing the best experience possible.
