In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Wow! Truly a unique experience. Was not sure what to expect but heard this was a 'must do' by so many friends. So glad we did it. Also, going with this group was great too. There were only 6 of us. I liked the small group; our family w/two kids (11/15) got attention we would have not received with a larger group. The experience in the water was cool, a bit freaky but a fun experience. My kids told me after they were so scared (being in water in dark), but when we returned home I could not believe they actually said it was one of their favorite experiences of our vacation! Treats after and wet suits were a nice addition. Last but not least the team that took us out from greeting to pick up, and support in the water, were top notch...knowledgeable, professional.

Having the manta rays brush against my arms. As soon as I grabbed the surfboard the rays were inches away from my face.

Must do on the big island! This tour was amazing, small group up to 6 people at a time, so less of the hustle and bustle and right to the action. We saw so many manta rays and they get right in your face! Unforgettable experience!
