My sons and I have been visiting NASA since they were little, but we live in Texas, so we always went to the Houston NASA. This year, we came to Florida, so of course we wanted to see Kennedy Space Center Cape Canaveral. I thought it would take a half day. To my surprise, it was absolutely amazing. We were there before it opened and were still looking at all they had to offer until they had to kick us out at closing time. There was so much to see and experience that we just kept going and going. We barely took a break for lunch. And when an afternoon shower broke out, no problem, there were plenty of indoor exhibits as well to keep everyone interested. It was such an incredible experience between the history and all the way to what is currently happening and where we are going in the future of space exploration. Words cannot describe the way in which they have displayed and presented all of the facets of our space journey and beyond here at Kennedy. And you do not need any extras; the admission alone will fill your day. If you pay for the extras, you will probably need another day to go back and take it all in.
