We booked the tour including the chat with the astronaut and lunch. Unfortunately, the chat with the astronaut didnāt happen, which is something normal and depends on their availability. The problem is that RFA told us that we were entitled to have a refund for a total of $112. They told us this on 3 different days. When we went to claim the refund to guest services, they suddenly dropped the price to $70, claiming that the hotel sold us the tour for a lower price and they did not know. It is unacceptable that they donāt know the prices that the hotels are selling for their services and also, to give us misleading and confusing information. For instance, no one told us that we wouldnāt have the lunch and we were actually waiting for it. It is suspicious that when you actually claim the refund, they decide to drop the price after giving information about a higher amount 3 times on 3 different days and by different people. Very disappointed about this, if I had all this info in advance, I would have booked with someone else.
Special mention to the tour guide, he was very friendly and a good driver.

Hello. We explained over the phone that the Chat with an astronaut could not be provided, but that our regular Kennedy day trip would still be operating. Food is only included as part of the Chat with an Astronaut program. You agreed to switch to the regular tour, hence no food. As far as the refund. The retail for the full chat program is 175, the regular tour is 119. We were working on the basis that your hotel had charged you 175 for the chat program, however they had not. They had charged you just 154 for that program. Therefore the refund due was NOT the difference between 175 and 119 x2 =112, but instead was the difference between the 154 you paid and 119 x2 = 70. Nothing suspicious or underhanded, it would seem just a genuine misunderstanding. Tour guide Paul reported back that you had a good day. Thank you for joining us. RFA
