What To Expect

Turning Heads Kennel

Our guide will take you in to meet our sled dogs. You will experience their love of the sport of mushing by going on an interactive training run by going dog sledding with us on a wheeled cart.

These dogs are rock stars and are loving life! It is a very unique experience to spend time with the dogs (and puppies) and see the variety of personalities. And an over the top experience to be given a ride by the team. Travis is great and we will be rooting for Turning Heads Iditarod teams!

The Turning Heads Kennel Tour and Dog Sled Ride was the highlight of our pre-cruise family vacation. Our ages range from 16-75 and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed the entire time we were there. I chose this excursion because of reviews I had read on TripAdvisor and I was so thankful it even exceeded my expectations. We appreciate the care given to the happy dogs and the love that is shown to each and every dog. Highly recommend this tour.
