If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

Had the pleasure of having Andy and Captain Pierre as our tour guides. The tour was very informative and was full of gorgeous views. Andy was hilarious and punny. He definitely made the tour! King Salmon!

We enjoyed seeing a little part of Ketchikan that we would not have seen otherwise. A little local history was included, and a lot of bad jokes. My kids found it hilarious. I found it amusing. My husband found it contrived. So, I think whether you will enjoy this activity will depend on what you're looking for. :) The aquatic portion is basically a "go-out-in-the-water-and-turn-around" - not much to actually take in that is new, since we all arrived on cruise ships to the same area. Overall, Captain Peggy and guide Emili were friendly and fun.

Five of us took the duck tour of Ketchikan and totally enjoyed it. Our Captain was Jerry and Emma was our guide and both did a great job. They were both funny as they gave us a the history of Ketchikan and all sorts of fun information about the town and Alaska. We also got a great view of the eagles along the waterfront .The tour was well worth the money and time.
