If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

The land tour was a nice way to see the city. The tour guides have a lot of funny jokes, and enough interesting sites to point out, that the trip was really quite fun. The land part of the trip was more interesting than the water part of the trip. But, we did see a few eagles flying over the water so that was fun.

Wife and I took this tour which began and ended at the cruise dock. The tour was very informative and had several bald eagle sightings up close. Tour guide provided highlights of the town and it's history.

My wife, kids (ages 12 and 13) and I booked the Ketchikan Duck Tour excursion while on the Celebrity Millennium (July 23, 2017). We had seen other duck tours in other cities and had never considered doing one, but I am so glad we did in Ketchikan. Captain Eric and his "first mate" Isaac made a great team. The tour was incredibly informative and fun at the same time, with Isaac providing information about the town's history and some great anecdotal stories about growing up in Ketchikan (he is born and raised). We all got lucky enough to see 2 or 3 bald eagles which we had never seen in the wild before. This is a great tour, and I recommend it to any family who is looking to get a local taste of Ketchikan without spending a fortune. Great job Eric and Isaac!!
