We were on an Alaskan cruise and chose the Duck tour as an excursion. When it was suggested I first thought it may be a little hokie. I've seen these goofy looking bus/truck/boat things in other cities but was never on one. Was I wrong. It was a blast driving around seeing so many bald eagles up close. The narration was fun too. At times the jokes were a but much but it was all part of having fun.

We are glad you took a chance on the "goofy looking bus/truck/boat things" and had a blast! Thank you for taking the time to review Ketchikan Duck Tour. We do pride ourselves in our cheezy jokes, but sometimes we all have to go "quackers."

We were in Ketchikan for a cruise on June 14 and thought this would be a great way to see and learn about Ketchikan before we wandered around first ourselves. The tour was about 90 minutes and they drove through the town and then went out into the water. The driver was excellent. He was personable and funny. The tour guide was a local high school student. He was very polished and knowledgeable. Amazing for someone his age to speak so well in front a group of strangers. This is a covered (plexiglass with portholes) ride which came in handy as it rained on and off the whole tour. They even provide blankets should you get cold. We found this a good tour that we are glad that we did. We booked directly with them where I know the cruise line also offered the tour as well. The only confusing item was trying to find which 'bus' we were scheduled for as they had a number of them. And the directions lead us one way, but as we were early they sent us from the bus back to the office to check in.

Thank you for taking the time to review Ketchikan Duck Tour. We apologize for any confusion on getting to the right "Bus". As in the polished knowledgeable high school students narrators, our dock representatives pride themselves in providing friendly concise correct directions to our guests, as well as our sales people, and management on duty. We are happy you had an excellent driver, and could take advantage of the comfort of a dry warm interior of our duck.

We took a tour with the new girl (I think Melissa) and she was great. It was very informative and funny with a few cheesy jokes. We have been on several Duck tours in other states and this one was my favorite. I was really impressed with the town information and history she gave. I would definitely recommend others to take the tour.
