Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All guests are required to sign an insurance/liability waiver in order to participate
Drivers must be at least 25 years old and are required to show a current driver's license
Minimum age for the tour is 5 years
Children must weigh at least 40 lbs (18 kg) in order to fit into the required life jacket
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Children 13-17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate in the absence of a parent or guardian

What To Expect

Tongass National Forest

For the Jeep® portion of this safari adventure, you will join up to three other guests, with plenty of opportunities to change drivers for those who want to get behind the wheel! While you traverse the mountain roads of the Tongass National Forest, your guide provides you with interesting and informative commentary using a two-way radio. You'll be fascinated by the area's natural history as you pass through old growth and new growth forests and stop for magnificent views and photo opportunities along the way.

Our favorite part was definitely our tour guide, LeiAnna, aka "Stardust". (Sorry if I spelled it wrong). She was so fun and funny! She knew her stuff as well. The excursion was one of the highlights of our entire cruise. We learned so much and it was a fun little adventure.

The canoe ride over to their pavilion was a blast! Our 6 year old loved it. The Jeeps were fun V the guide had so much energy and knowledge it made it fun for all!
