Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
All guests are required to sign an insurance/liability waiver in order to participate
Drivers must be at least 25 years old and are required to show a current driver's license
Minimum age for the tour is 5 years
Children must weigh at least 40 lbs (18 kg) in order to fit into the required life jacket
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult

Children 13-17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate in the absence of a parent or guardian

What To Expect

Tongass National Forest

For the Jeep® portion of this safari adventure, you will join up to three other guests, with plenty of opportunities to change drivers for those who want to get behind the wheel! While you traverse the mountain roads of the Tongass National Forest, your guide provides you with interesting and informative commentary using a two-way radio. You'll be fascinated by the area's natural history as you pass through old growth and new growth forests and stop for magnificent views and photo opportunities along the way.

My nephew and I booked this excursion and so glad we did. What a ton of fun and the off road jeep experience was a blast. We enjoyed the canoe portion as well and our guide, Colt was knowledgeable and entertaining! Totally recommend this adventure!

Joey was knowledgeable, funny, and thoughtful! They even made us special lentil soup (AMAZING!) for our snack since we let them know ahead of time that we’re vegan 🌱 Sooo much fun for my husband, me and our 8-year old son 🏔️🛞🛶

Not sure we knew what to expect. I would say if you want to drive on a very bumpy road in a woodsy area and a short canoe ride then this would be a fine tour. We didn’t enjoy it. The guide was amazing but besides that the actual tour wasn’t that good. Also it’s from 11-3 and you get fish crackers and jam. Probably the worst snack I’ve ever been given on a tour. I would choose another excursion unless you are a thrill speaker and want to ride jeeps over potholes.
